Having major environment issues

I cant seem to see anything but the back image (the galaxy thing) and the light effects. i can move, and shoot and all that jazz... but its kinda like being blind folded..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

and yes, i have reset my caches, reinstalled, verified through steam three times, reset my caches again. updated all my drivers, double check directx, put my game to everything minimal/off, even resorting to putting my game to 600xsomething ridiculously small. also turn off texture streaming.

    oh and my specs, i'm not 100% sure on what i got, but i'm running on a ASUS EAH6850 Series

    looks like something is forced @driver settings. Even when you unsintall - install a different driver package, sometimes options remain saved and kept with next driver (like forced aa or something else): go to your catalyst control center and in main window theres button "preferences" at right near top. click that and apply "restore factory defaults.."

    OMG... if i was bi i'd do you :D GREATLY appreciated, worked immediatly, scared the crap outta me though cause it said it crashed then restored itself.
