Memory Leak in 228

Currently I'm running three dedicated servers on my machine (Provo NS2 #1,2 and 3). I'm really loving the web interface that is provided, and SteamCMD I find is much easier to use the SRCDS. I am a little sad that there is no linux server yet. Anyway, I've noticed that there seems to be a very large memory leak in this build. Yesterday, I saw that my total system memory usage had spiked, and opening my task manager I saw that one of my servers had gone to about 3.5 GB of memory usage. Minutes after I found this problem, the server crashed, and I'm assuming it was due to this issue. This morning I'm seeing the same issue with another one of my servers.

Anyone else seeing this issue a tall?

I tried running it on a VPS only to find out it uses 1.4gb memory for server.exe on startup.

Type memory into the server console and post the results and the server log. Been trying to track down this issue for a while.

    There is indeed a leak.

We have been trying to track down since launch. The "memory" command is very useful but so far we haven't had enough details.

229 has those details. So if you see this happening to your server in 229, use the memory command and get that server log to us. That will allow us to get this taken care of.

    Thanks!

unrealated but is there a command to show only fps without the other lines that appear when using r_stats ?

There is not. But the FPS is displayed in the options menu for tweaking purposes.

alright, it would be great to have that option ingame without the r_stats command that will display alot of lines ( annoying ) or the need to run tools like fraps.

In the meantime you could make a mod to display FPS ingame.

I would have done it if I could program or intend to learn programming.

Fraps or MSI Afterburner are good alternatives if you just want the FPS displayed in a big, noticeable font and size.

When will 229 be pushed? I'm sick of seeing my servers using up 4 plus gigs of ram and needing restarts every 6-12 hours.

    Really?

My servers have been up for 3 days straight - and only then do i need to restart it...

Why don't you setup a task to reboot the machine in the dead of night, and then add shortcuts of the shortcuts into the startup folder? - no need to reboot your machines manually then :)

    Here's a log from B229, according to Task Manager, using 1,586,844 K.

Here's a screenshot of my server when one of them crashed, no messages in log file, but obvious memory usage increase and then that happened.

Here's two more memory logs. I hope these can help, this issue is becoming a pain in the ass when memory hits maximum.

Both servers are using about 2,500,000KB according to task manager. Results of the commands are as follows:
