Where can I find them?
Hey, I'm looking for high quality images of the switch axe in the closed, open, and in between states. A good video of the opening animation would also be great. I'm a mechanical engineer with a bit of spare time and devious ideas.

devious ideas

If you have what I'm looking for, please share!
If you know where I can find it, let me know!

This is the best I can come up with. It's from the concept art book that comes with the deluxe edition.

EDIT using the viewer app and the axe model (thanks Typhon):

There's an app in your ns2 folder that lets you view models and play their animations. If you can't find it I'll get the file name and what files to open later.

You can allso use the cinematic editor and spawn it in for closeup images.

In the ns2 folder in steam, its viewer.exe. Open ns2\models\marine\axe\axe_view.model

You can play the animations from any angle and even slow down their playback speed.

You could also look at the Gerber kick axe (although I don't think it ever went into production):

You might want to make a project thread in the Artwork Section. We have another guy who is working on something in the same spirit.
