Not playable if you bought it too long ago?

I bought ZoS back when it was sold over Trymedia System, Inc. If I try to install it through that old way, all that happens is that my installer freezes when it tries to verify my copy. I'd like to play ZoS again, but evidently my product is not functional any more. Even more preferable would be if I could have it on Steam, though I understand this may not be possible. What now, Unknown Worlds?

Are you connected to the internet when verifying?

There's some tech support stuff <a href="http://csc.trymedia.com/csc/top_questions/contentid=f885b52fe1cc0886645d566b7b6df17a/affiliate=unknownworlds/index.html" target="_blank">here</a> anyway. Maybe you should try contacting Trymedia.

Admittedly I don't know much about ZoS, but it's available on steam: <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/4900/" target="_blank">http://store.steampowered.com/app/4900/</a>

Did you receive a code when you first bought it? Perhaps that code can be used to activate it on steam (this is a long shot).

    Here's UWE's infopage about it: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/zen/" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/zen/</a>
