Yea ive been getting that sometimes when i join a server it will say my name as nsplayer (only to me though appantly i look normal to other players) and have ping 999 even though im on a server that said 59 ish on the menu and then after about 3 or 4 min it calms down to normal followed by massive frame rate drops.

Yeah I see this as well when joining up on servers, it is probably related to the amount of time you're in black screen mode so to speak after you've loaded the map. I usually get 20-30 seconds of 999 ping and being called nsplayer, which is a similar amount of time spend in black screen mode. After this 20-30s, the game sends a whole lot of messages all at once and the ping goes down eventually.
I've never had it as severe, with is happening at around 4 minutes though... When this is done it's all good...
I have it at every game, avec 4-7 minutes in the map. There is no way to hide it. (nb: I don't have this just after loading, but after playing a while, and I don't have any ping/freeze issue)
It dissapears when the round is finished, after the loading.
