    Awesome, Minecraft with spheres :D

    One highlight for me is the new Cyst building method, which is a good way to allow Commander to plan the direction of infestation spread without waiting for grown Cysts. If they end up being spammable though, you could always change the pre-placed Cysts to ghost structures (if not already the case), so the Khamm can't just put down easy distractions for ARCs.

    Good work on the patch, one notable bug is the quick menu getting locked up when Khamm selects a growing building, a work-in-progress of course.

    That's intentional. They look like that to the Aliens when they are cloaked (placeholder effect).

    Is this a placeholder change until people can shoot lerks? Because when they can, the pre-206 lerk was already way too slow.

    I don't want the lerk to be made completely unfun to play just because it was good in 201 through 205.

    Hell yes, Gorge is looking soooo much better. I love gorge but I hated waiting for pres. Those barriers/clogs are a great idea, could gorge evolve/upgrade it into a infestation bomb? Or maybe he spits one on the cieling waits for a marine to walk by then gorge can lure marine under and spit it to detonate into gooey bomb of acid over the marine?

    About the Clog, is it a bug or feature that the Gorge can destroy it using Spit? I hope this isn't the case for other lifeforms, or they would grief my little fort :(

    Not sure if they can walk through the Clogs made by others though.

    Any alien can destroy clogs right now. This prevents a gorge from blocking aliens inside a base or such. Lots of talking and changes may come to clogs though. This was just a temporary thing to prevent griefing.

    I tried biting it as a skulk, and it's showing me that im hitting it. Then the clog got destroyed. It may be the same thing to other life forms.

    Clogs: I'm afraid this means gorges lean more towards the builder-type rather then the support role he should carry - add the removal of bilebomb from gorge too that and you have a completely useless unit late game.

    Although the goo wall is something fun, I'm afraid it's useless. I thought the Goo-walls were just going to be a material over Alien structures (such as bilebomb material) that would temporarily reinforce alien structures (which would in its turn be really useful early game to protect maturing harvesters and such)

    I also feel like they should get bilebomb back - I still don't get why you would move bilebomb from a slower, yet 'meatier' alien that covers a support role to an agile, flying alien that already has the ability to snipe and gas marines, and now also can terrorize their base. Just for the sake of balance.

    This is the best part about playing video games. It's SO easy to kill gorges since belly slide and heal spray are both garbage, but you decided to post here before even trying.

    Drifters can be used to scout. They cloak automatically when not moving, so Alien commanders can place them in spots to spy on marines. They will also get an ability called Enzyme, which will be coming shortly.

    Just that you can also place hydras and switch lifeform... so everybody can just place 3 free hydras and maybe delay going fade by a minute max...

    => 18 FREE hydras in the first minute (assuming 6v6) + going back to skulk.

    Any chance the aliens could have the ability to pass through a clog, almost like how a fast car needs to slow down for a speed bump? For balance I imagine some kind of 'clog pass through cooldown' would need to go along with it but how cool would it be to see an onos be poop'ed out of a clog? Plus it eliminates the griefing problems.

    and everyone would just go gorge, build some stuff (to use the available structures) and directly become some other/higher lifeform

    Oh, I was wondering what they do. I tried to get 20 drifters and attack 1 marine, it didn't do anything lol.

    Also, new tactic I found. cyst up marine base then build 10 whips, 5 crags, and mist all of them :D so it's gg.

    Mines are way harder to see now.

    Gorge buildings don't vanish when you die/change lifeform.

    The game is still about the lerk.

    There are a lot of good changes in the patch but there are few things I'm supriced that went through...

    Its a different story if it happened when you allowed marines into your hive(since then its your team at fault) but waiting 10-20 sec on most spawns is way to much.

    This will probably make lerks drop down like flies, the speed was the only thing that allowed them to survive.

    The rt hp was fine, lowering the hp and increasing the hp is probably to much of a nerf to the alien harvesters. Both these changes were not needed.

    I'm not sure if Charlie is trolling us or not because this is so bad.

    This is just ridicules, sure it will be fun for awhile but its very bad for the general gameplay of the game. Sorry if I sound bit harsh but some things just go to far and this is just stupid. Why would you ever make a game with so much focus on economy and then allow players to get powerful buildings for free.

    Every game will be spammed with hydras and marines can't counter it. It doesn't matter if you lose the hydras since you can just rebuild them any time you want. Hydras are already pretty strong but now they are free, I don't know how anyone thought this was a good idea.
