Sent Items not updating with new messages

I haven't used the forum's message feature since 2005. Now when I send messages they no longer show up in my 'Sent Items' box, however they do successfully reach their target. My Inbox works fine.

<strike>PS: My forums name got changed to 'Hii' after the new naming rules and I never got to select a new username. Can I get a name change to something that I don't hate?</strike>

    I don't know if you already got an answer on this, but you need to make sure that the "Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder" box is ticked when you send your message.
