Mic not working

I have a turtle beach headset mic. I have it set up in game to push Q to key mic up. I see my name icon pop on the right but other players cannot hear me. Mic is not on mute, and the mic works fine in other programs. Any help would be great

mic isn't muted physical/ in winders / in hl?

what happens when you voice_loopback 1 you hear nothing?
