Whats Up (Troll?)

I just purchased my pre-order of NS2 and was looking for some impressions about the game and the commitment of the development team? I currently work for a software development company myself and for many reasons I'm not concerned but curious how you as the gamer and customer feel about their efforts so far? In addition, is anyone aware if that Unknown Worlds is looking for additional game development support either for pay or volunteer? I worked for an independent development firm for sales incentive and employee recognition websites out of Arizona. I work with many willing and interested gamers and nerds who always have had a dream to develop game software (myself included). Any additional feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the game is the best multiplayer you can find. The dev team is amazing and working extremely hard to deliver a game that will cover our expectations.
If you search on the news section of the site you'll find that they did a search for game developers (can't remember exactly the positions to cover), or just write them with your resume.

Now that you have your copy of NS2, check out NS2HD videos to see how the game is played and the dynamics of it, then join a server and have fun playing around.
I recommend not to jump into the commander position straight away, unless you play it alone in your computer and see all the menus and what it does.

    Search the forums.

    Fall 2009 is the in-joke.

The art in the game looks nice though.

i know they are limited by a tiny budget, but i still think they need to take a few more risks and hire several more programmers, and possibly even a project manager, so that they can focus on individual tasks and the game can get finished.
i really feel that if they don't release before Nov then they will have missed their opportunity. Once the gfx are considered "old" looking then the awesome gameplay won't be enough to really hit a large audience.

Sort of like a short-term loss for a long-term gain?
