    Yes, you may have to use the console to load them (might not show up in the list), but it will work.

    It would make sense that the Alpha and Beta won't be on Steam, but standalone versions which update and install similar to the Spark Editor. Furthermore, logically only the final release will be on steam and you would add NS2 to Steam the same way you would any other game.

    There have been plenty of public beta's on Steam, although only pre-orders will have beta access (ergo private) to NS2, which further indicates only the final release will be on Steam.

    Please make a torrent this time :) Based on the demand for the editor, I can't really see any other way you are going to be able to deal with the bandwidth. If you can't, I volunteer to do it as soon as I get a copy of the binary :)

    Also, it's probably a bit late to set up now.. but a bug tracker that shared the forum login would be handy :)

    I imagine there'll be a bug report feature, since wasn't there one included in Spark?

    It might be a bit late to add for the initial release of this, but having an automated feedback system which would collect system stats along with some basic benchmarks from the game could be really useful.

    Looking forward to playing with this.

    Bleh.

    That makes sense, but it's just that late afternoon/early evening means I won't get to play it for about 24 hours, as I have stuff to do Friday night and Saturday morning/afternoon.

    Will a dedicated server be released at the same time? If not, how will we be able to connect in multiplayer? I would guess you guys don't have the hardware to host more than a few...

    There will be no dedicated servers, so if you want to run around together, one of you has to start a game and everyone will connect to them. Essentially, anyone can run a server, just the game must be running to do so at this time.
