Very old version of NS?

<div class="IPBDescription">Wanted to test some old old old NS..</div>Anyone know where i can get my hands on some very old NS that i can play around with??

i have tested cs beta 5 and some old version of DoD..

So pls help me out..

    cool, thanks.. ill check that later now that i need to get some sleep as that i need to get up 06:00 in the morning to catch a train 06:43 to get to school that starts 8:15..(swedish highschool - högskolan).


    But im still open for same or older version.. the older the better..

    I think your going to run into problems, any older than that.
    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the oldest was running on the old WON network, until steam crashed it's way through.

    yeah and so did beta 5-6 of css.. i think it will work, just not as good it would...

    But it mainly for my self i want to test this out.

    1.04 is probably the oldest version you'd want to try out. 1.0 - 1.03 are essentially the same game as 1.04 but they have some nasty bugs/exploits that hadn't been fixed yet.

    I still have v1.0 installed on my old computer, and I tried to play it (without steam) by just starting up a random server... I think I couldn't join marines and after joining aliens it would crash after 2-3 minutes :-P

    A thing that I tried was installing the orignal Half-Life from CD to a folder not called "Half-Life" then Steam wont pick it up and you can run all the old mods you want <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
