free games I don't want anymore

I'm going through my collection of games and have found that I have a few games that I almost never played and don't want anymore. I felt bad to just throw them away so honestly, if you want them anyone can have them.

I can give just the serial numbers to go with your technically legitimate backup you got elsewhere (which is probably easier despite the legal greyishness of it). OR It'll be the cds in paper sleeves with the serial numbers.

I'd rather it be an all or non package unless someone really wants something individually. You'd be responsible for the shipping cost, unless it's like $5-10 then I don't care so much.

Games are:

Total Annihilation
Red Faction
The Moon Project (bargain bin stuff)
Boiling Point
Ultima Ascension
BF1942
Starwars Battlefront
Splinter Cell
MOH:AA
KOTOR2
UT2004
Farcry

If you want manuals and boxes with them it adds to the bulk and shipping (and isn't worth it)

Also if anyone else wants to add their own freebies to the thread go ahead.

Heh, I'd be interested in Boiling Point but frankly you need not bother; White Gold and The Precursors are both coming out soon, and those are by the same studio, so one or both of those should give me my fill of free-roaming FPS action, hopefully without nearly as many bugs.

Whoever doesn't have KOTOR2 should take you up on it, though. Especially once <a href="http://www.team-gizka.org/" target="_blank">Team Gizka</a> finishes up. It's better than the first one in every way except for the bugs and the unpolished nature of the game, both of which the Gizka folks will fix.

    Go Battlefront!

Most of those you can find cracked versions freely on the P2P scene. Not that I've done anything illegal, I'm just in the know. =]

I personally was very disappointed with KOTOR2. They cleaned up some stuff, but screwed over the storyline into a terrible mess. Maybe I'll forgive it if that project works it all out, Tycho, but honestly I've got other things to occupy my time.

very generous of ya =P I was such an Ultima fanboy back in the day, but even now my curiosity isn't great enough to give Ultima 9 a try, even for free...

I loved KOTOR2, even though, yes, the plot did fall apart toward the end...

Hmm, I'll have to take you up on this I think, I see a few I was interested in but never got around to getting. In particular: Red Faction, Battlefront, Splinter Cell, KOTOR2 and Farcry. If no one else wants them I'd further be interested in Boiling Point, Ultima and MOH. Toss me a PM and we can work out shipping and stuff, fair bit of data and all.

I've held off buying KOTOR2 because of the ending, but now that's it's clear that "Team Gizka" won't be releasing anything until half past Duke Nukem Forever, I figure I might as well get it now. If you could send it to me that'd be great.

Like the original KOTOR, it's worth playing 2-3 times at least, so you can just save the Gizka runthrough for later. In fact, that way you'll be able to tell how much new stuff is added.

    I'm interested in ut2004 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

I don't need anything shipped, I'd only ask for the cdkey pmed to me if that's alright.

    Thanks.

Yeah, it's a sort of sequel to Earth 2150.

oh, btw, if you didn't already know about it...

    <a href="http://www.goozex.com/" target="_blank">http://www.goozex.com/</a>

you can trade your games with people for other games, for free. Lots of people seem to love it. I haven't tried it myself since I'm sort of a packrat when it comes to games.

if you guys want the games send me a PM with your address, I'm not doing the work for you. - as far as the trading in is concerned... meh I'd get one game out of it and I'd have to mail all of them to separate people.
  • DiscoZombieDiscoZombie Join Date: 2003-08-05 Member: 18951Members
goozex isn't like trading in at gamestop or something. you get points based on how in-demand a game is. so generally speaking, you're trading on a 1 for 1 basis, rather than turning in 10 games to gamestop in order to get enough credit to get 1 game in return. if you trade in a game that's highly in demand or rare, you can get up to 10 games for trading in 1.

sorry for being away - I'm just finishing up my summer job and in the process of moving all my stuff to my place at school 8 hours away.

I haven't forgotten about you guys - I got all of your PMs and will ship out the CDs when I can my only problem has been locating CD keys for some of the games - like splinter cell... I have the box, I have the manual, I have the original CD case but I have no idea where the CD key is written down - does it even have one? Can anyone tell me which of the games I listed even have CD Keys? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
