If I'm ever in the middle of a super intense moment and I don't feel the game's music is cutting it, I put on <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=Pw0jvqx1mNU" target="_blank">Mars, Bringer of War</a>. 8)

If I'm not ravin' all up in this place to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1xbApLOyUI" target="_blank">Astral Projection</a>, I'm chillin' out all up in this place to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6RJOpqPD1k" target="_blank">City and Colour.</a>

the Ghosts albums by Nine Inch Nails when playing EVE because it suits the game.

They are also free on the internet in case you didn't know, as well as The Slip.

I don't listen to music during any other game unless it's annoying everyone else on HLSS, but that doesn't really count all that much.

It depends on the game. For example, I like listening to the Guild Wars soundtrack when playing Guild Wars. When playing TF2, I don't listen to anything. When playing Portal I listen to (mostly) ambient sounds, but I like to play "Still Alive" over the end credits. I used to listen to the WoW soundtrack when playing WoW. I listened to the CoD4 soundtrack while I played CoD4. I didn't really want to because it was often too loud and drowned out the sounds in the game, but there was no volume control.

    that Moonbird Atlantic stuff is pretty good <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

honestly I'm like lolf, I listen to the game's music mostly... I consider games to be an audiovisual experience so I don't like to drown out the audio part. especially in FPS games - you're incredibly gimped if you drown out the game's sounds and can't positionally hear where someone's shooting at you from :>

Actually, I sometimes wonder whether that's why some people seem to inexplicably have no situational awareness at all. They simply can't hear you.

I knew <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Planets" target="_blank">Mars, the Bringer of War</a> from the title music of 'Escape Velocity: Nova', but I didn't know that it was called that, or where it was from. Thanks!

Heh situational awareness can play funny tricks on people. I know someone was deaf from behind (probably a wrong speaker setting). And I setup wiht 5 other players to climb on the back of his tank (FH1) and have a party right there. he also didn't check his external cams so that party was fun and laster quite long <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Music I listen to ingame HL1 OST, Homeworld OST, Cowboy Bebop OST, Love Hina OST, Lineage2 OST, WoW music and probably some Aerosmith...

But only when I'm not playing seriously...

The entire Planets suite by Holst is amazing.
