Should be interesting, had a brief read and seems pretty interesting. Will read the rest after work.

You don't unless you're chosen. I'm sure they'll release a transcript soon, because I think most XFire chats only last an hour.

Personally a great read. Intersting to see what happens day to day as things progress. I think the biggest thing for people to keep in mind is that you don't have an "office" and that your work day is not exactly normal as compared to an established company. I think if these keep going once work on NS2 is a normal day should make for some really fun reading.

Here's a chat transcript from the session in case you missed it.

I need to check the main site more often, didn't see this until just now.

I noticed that part 6 of the "day in the life" blog was missing. Either that or they are just miss named from 7 onwards.

Still, interesting read, I would've loved to be in on that chat about the art theme. The artwork is always my favorite aspect of game design. I don't envy flayra having to deal with all the litigation though, I'd be lost just taking one step forward.

    I'm still grumpy that no one replied when I sent a portfolio. I guess it really must've sucked <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

I dont really check the main site often, I got bookmarks to the forums. So would it be possible for you to link to the original news post at the start of each of these threads?

    Please? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Sorry, we get a lot of e-mail from people who want to work on NS2, including a lot of really good portfolios. I want to respond to all of them, but at the moment there's just too much other stuff that needs to get done.

If you use a feed reader (and you should), an alternative is to add our news feed. Adding the links back to the news items is a bit complex, but we may do it eventually. But again, lots of other stuff needs to be done when you are a two person company, so it's hard to make time for everything.
