Any wireless headset that will last at least 2 years. Wired ones just wear out too much.

eDimensional AudioFX Force Feedback Gaming Headset.

Main features: Rumble (really great for action games, just don't overdo it) and LEDs which light up more the higher the sound is. Bendable mic.

They seem to take pre-orders of their next headset with everything from prev but better.

Actually, it got quite high in reviews. The rumble really helps the feeling when firing weapons causing bass. A great example of its effects would be running around in a artillery barrage in BF2. The amount of shake can easily be adjusted with the volume thingy, or turned off.

If they dont fit comfortably it might cause some irritation on the ears though.

Upon my quest for the perfect headset for myself, I tried many el cheapo headsets.
Those broke in a about a few weeks.

Then, I searched for something that would give quality sound 'n microphone, and I found this:

    <img src="http://www.discountdiscs.co.uk/Merchant2/graphics/00000002/pc150.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Sennheiser PC150

Fair in price, I bought it at ~50 euro.

Very crisp sound quality, very clear in some way, had to get used to it after them cheap headsets.
Same goes for the microphone, crystal clear.
I use it for listening music and gaming/chatting.
Can be worn for very very long times due to the soft cushions on the band and the earpads.
Does not completely cover the ears (mine are very small), so you can still hear a little bit of what happens in the room.
I bought this headset at 16-06-2006, and it still works as fine as it did.

I recently got <a href="http://www.alteclansing.com/product_details.asp?pID=AHS615" target="_blank">these</a> after my old AHS 502's (mentioned earlier) broke.
The sound quality is very nice with the SRS technology that simulates a surround sound system.
Mic is good and very adjustable.
They're somewhat uncomfortable unless I arrange them a certain way(in which they're still a little tight). It's really only noticeable if I look for it, and should improve with use.

At $70ish, they aren't cheap, but I've gone through too many cheaper (broken or malfunctioning)headsets and decided to get one that had better sound quality and(hopefully) wouldn't break on me.

Do earbuds have inferior sound quality? Even $100 earbuds?
