<div class="IPBDescription">Aside from the movie ones</div>So anyone who's ever seen <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NE5elL30w4" target="_blank">Ryan vs Dorkman</a> knows it's the best lightsaber fan film ever, right? Well, it was until now. <a href="http://stage6.divx.com/content/show/1137289" target="_blank">Ryan vs Dorkman 2</a> is out, and it's tough to imagine ever seeing any lightsaber fight better than this outside, say, Star Wars. Thrill at the spectacular choreography! Wonder at the amazing special effects! Laugh at the endearing touches of humor! Cringe a tiny bit at the moderately passable soundtrack! Whatever you do, just watch it. The link I gave you is the HD version, which is preferred, but you can always watch <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-is63goeBgc" target="_blank">the YouTube one</a> if you're lame.

    I give them props for the special effects, but that's where it stops. It doesn't look like a fight at all but rather a dance, they're bad actors.

    Some of the best swordfights look like dances, that was really impressive.

    Which ones? When I think fight it's people wanted to beat the ish out of each other or kill each other, this definitely lacked that and just stank of choreography. If I want that I'll watch Thriller.

    I don't know how many dances I've seen where one guy tries to shove the other into his own lightsaber face-first, or with multiple headbutts.

    This was far more enjoyable to watch than the Yoda vs Dooku fight. Possibly the Mace vs Sidious fight too, but that depends on your perspective (that one just bored me, but some people enjoyed the "power" and "control" of the fight, which are valid points, but it's still boring to watch).

    uh... the special effects were really good but after a while I just stopped it out of boredom. Not that the fighting is bad or anything but it didn't really grab me.

    Then again I'm used to watching martial arts films with crazy stuff. I'm more at home with the dazzling and almost ridiculous sort of things you find in the transporter for example :p

    I think the problem here is that these things are usually "the big event" (hinting towards the starwars movies) . The scene everyone has been waiting for "the omg famous char 1 vs famous char 2"

    *ahem*

    This will usually result in it being longer then it should be, because of "the fans want to see this scene syndrome". However if it was shorter people would start to cry it being to short. Can't make everyone happy it seems, humans are hard to please <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    About the two fellows in this movie, sure they are not professional actors and it had its ups and downs as far as the fight goes, it even had some funny stuff in it as well, haven't seen that in starwars lightsaber fights... Also their budget is probably not the same as the starwars dudes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> I think they did a hell of a job, it looks on par with the expensive stuff shown in the movies. That said, I still think its awesome

    Just finished watching. This was really awesome.

    I like the direction they went with certain elements of the fight too, such as getting the saber stuck in the walls and etc.

    Could've been a few minutes shorter though.

    I thought it was pretty damn good. The "acting" could've been a bit better, facial expressions and such. The punches were pretty bad, they need to work on their fake contact a bit I think. Otherwise it was awesome.

    This was a pretty good rematch and i see they added in a whole lot more special FX. that poor wall <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

    I think that maybe it was a bit over the top though.
