My friend kows someone that actually lives with Black Widows... What happened was they removed the tree that they were dwelling in from the back-yard and they migrated into the house, in the guy's room.
My friend said they're pretty cool and don't bother you, so they just run along the floor and whatnot.
I've got these things living in my basement. They are horrifying because they are HUGE and JUMP REALLY HIGH. What makes it even better is that they don't jump away from you most of the time, they jump right onto your ###### pants leg.

A while ago I felt something crawl along the back of my neck, I scratched it and the itch went away. Half an hour later I felt the same itch so I scratched again, managed to pick up a giant bug that had been crawling around on me, flicked it onto table and it just kept on walking... It's a creepy feeling.

Laying on my back starting to fall asleep one night (I was maybe 10?) I had one of those fleeting itches on my nose, and I reached up once to scratch it.. feeling something terrifying and abnormal, I <i>PINCHED</i> down and crushed a big spider... blegh

Cave cricket / camel cricket. Though I grew up calling them spider crickets. They are pretty horrifying.
Mine usually sits on top of my head and or on my shoulder when I am playing NS, or when I am just home.
My cat doesn't like her very much, but then he attempted to "poke" at her when he was really little, and she gave him a nip on the paw for the effort. I thought the whole ordeal was very funny. The cat didn't.

Of course I played HL2, what kind of question is that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> And I remember them being black, also not able to actually kill you. Just take away 99% of your hp and the HEV suit then administers anti-venom. But then again I don't have a HEV suit to counter the poison!!!

But their accounts of atleast one of these spiders to have gron so large that eat feeds on children/family/cattle etc. It's true I know because a drunk aborigine told me!

One time in my apartment last year, I was playing ns and then noticed a roach on my elbow. Killed that sucker dead.
One time when I was camping, I got up one morning and put on my boots, and felt a big lump in one of them. I took off that boot, and a huge wolf spider jumped out of the boot into my tent. I spent the next half hour trying to chase him out.
I'd like to point out the "mouse spider" isn't really that big for a typical tarantula type. The classic Mexican Rose Hair is significantly larger. Not to mention mine is about the size of a small dinner plate i.e.: 8 inches from leg to leg. The Bird Eating Tarantula is the one I'd be hesitant to play with, being they have a temper, and are the size of a large dinner plate i.e. 14 inches from leg to leg.

Normally she is in her aquarium, and when I get a new digital camera (old one broke thanks to g/f parnuts) I will show you what I mean.
When I get home, and usually after I eat supper, I take her out and put her on my shoulder, she will sit there unless she feels like sitting on the top of my head. :-)
