how do you manage to rocketjump with that :O

very violently lol (I was like 12/13 at the time, large mouse movements were quite natural at the time and allowed for some ridiculous accuracy <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />) I think something Id consider comfortable would be 35-45deg/inch nowadays, what I use dont know dont care lol. If it feels low i up it, if it feels high i down it. But w/ accel moving up and down seems really weird. (and I cba to change by which I mean, ive been playing with accel a while now and cba to switch back and get used to it, Ill take the challenge of playing with accel and see how crap it is <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)

Then apparently you have a config file that allows that, mine changes depending on the team i go to as do most of the people here.

he has a config that allows him to have normal settings?

more like you have a config that changes default settings...

    Why would you pay for something made by micro$oft? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

Heh... Something around 169 for both. I've got some problems with the sens though as it seems to vary no matter if the ratings stay the same. 150 at the min sens I've played with.

Bhopping is a bit pain sometimes as the mouse movement isn't so smooth, but marine aiming is sweet.

I wonder if I calculated correctly. DPI 1600, windows reg value at "sensitivity" 12, sens 3.2, m_yaw default 0.022

    800 * .75 * .022 * 3.6 = 47.52 deg/in marine

was up in the 130's til a few weeks ago, but got a nice 21*16" mousepad so ive been bumping it down till i found the sweet spot. a little low for aliens though.

    no accel or anything

It says my base sensitivity is 26 degrees per inch, but i also use accel (the equivalent of cl_mouseaccel .25 in warsow or q3)

    <a href="http://www.sendmefile.com/00505330" target="_blank">http://www.sendmefile.com/00505330</a> - i use a third party mouseaccel drivers written by aion and set to a custom level by infro <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    Marine: 1600*0.125*0.022*2.3 = 10.12 degrees/inch
    Alien: 1600*0.125*0.022*2.4 = 10.56 degrees/inch

    If you think they're low it's because I originate from the counter-strike scene, where these sensitivities are perfectly normal <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    Wow my 190-200 degrees per inch seems a bit fast now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

    I use an mx518.

    Default windows sensitivity.

    Default windows XP drivers.

    Default USB polling rate.

    "Enhance pointer precision" on.

    Sensitivity 6.

I haven't measured the degrees/inch that my sensitivity is when I move my mouse in the average speed I move it when I aim (mouse accel means different sensitivities according to how fast your mouse is moving), but I do know it is extremely low.

    Logitech corded G5 Laser

    2000 x axis dpi
    1750 y axis dpi
    win sensitivity 5
    no accel
    ingame sense 5.6
    yaw 0.022
    pitch 0.022

    for both teams
    x axis 92.4 degrees/inch
    y axis 80.85 degrees/inch

hmm maybe i will change my marine sensitivity. ill have to make my yaw .0251 to make the degrees almost similar for rine play.

I plugged in my razer mouse and set the sensitivity to 7.0 on the options menu.
    People play too much to a science. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />
