    That is indeed quite awesome.

What do you use to make those? Photoshop and a Tablet?
  • waskerwasker Join Date: 2006-11-20 Member: 58674Members
Thank you :> Yup I got both, but I kinda combine whatever programs I need to use to create what I want. Mostly photoshop though.

v nice, i need to practice on landscapes still <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> i always have the problem i try to put too much detail in even though i know the simplest strokes of simplicity can make a much nicer effect.. habit i guess <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    good work a few questions

what resolution are these done at?
are you doing any art classes ?
how long does it take to do an image?
how many types of brushes are used and do you use the opacity and flow options in photoshop to do these?

    <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> it would help me a long way to improving <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    Thanks guys and girls(?) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    <b>kyliegirl</b>:

<i>what resolution are these done at?</i>
These pictures are done at 2500x2000 or 5000 x3000 pixels

<i>are you doing any art classes ?</i>
    Afraid not :<

<i>how long does it take to do an image?</i>
Really depends on how complicated the image is. Some pictures, as "the bridge", takes between 30 minute and 1h because they're relying more on values and feelings than details. Other, like the corridor with the monitor in the end, are more complex because of they got a wierd perspective or require lots of awareness to detail and lightning from my side.. or both.

<i>how many types of brushes are used and do you use the opacity and flow options in photoshop to do these?</i>
I can't keep track of all the brushes I'm using. As I wrote on the onter question, it really depends on what type of image I'm doing. To use the bridge vs the corridor picture again.

Bridge; ~5 brushes, opacity set to penpressure
Corridor; ~8-10 brushes, opacity set to penpressure

I seldom alter the photoshop opacity unless I need to, for example, creating really smooth transition between colors.
