The main reason that all the beta testers/team members are at the very top of the rankings is that the earlier you started playing the better your initial rank was and it is much easier to climb than fall in the ratings.

Now, I'm ranked number 1,203 yet I have a greater score than ALL of these people. Could someone explain to me why I'm not number 1?
Yes but your original rank is based by what # player you were to start playing. So since the beta testers etc already had it when everyone else was still downloading/mod wasn't released yet they already were ranked in all the top spots. NSPlayer has only fallen from #31 or so since the release so it seems significantly harder to fall than rise.
