<div class="IPBDescription">Really, I am.</div> Why must I always carry my team? Does the average HL player really suck <i>this</i> much?

Take a look at this screenshot. I just got out of this game. I killed marines by the squad, I cleared out base after base, I practically GAVE the win to my team. Do my teamates take advantage of this? No, they stay in the hive and jerk off. We ended up losing the match, to my extreme disgust.

This wasn't the only game like this. Time after time I encounter overwhelming hordes of idiots. One of most disgusting moments came when I saw my <i>dad</i> get TOPSCORE on his FIRST game (that really shouldn't happen).

Disgusting, simply disgusting.

btw: this isn't a rant on balance or any of that crap, just a general lamentation of humanity.

    Wow, look at all the l33t clanners. Obviously "Vet"erans. Any clan that's that bad should just disband and save themselves the shame of existing.
    I have nothing against clans in general, mind you, but... that's just bad.

    This happens to me as commander, or as grunt (marine's don't get scores so a screen shot is pointless) But i'd set up a nice base and no one will lissten to me and just **obscenity** they want HMG/HA and not take the nodes will i give them it. Or will be a grunt (i know this is a "team" game but other players tend to suck and i can do more damage as a "commando") I'd get to a hive with my JP/Welder/Shotgun and start beating down on the hive once i see/hear the aliens are off attacking my slow HA chums. I'll get it to like near death (i think 60 rounds of Shotgun has gota **obscenity** it up plus some welding) I get attacked by a spwaning skulk i kill it with my "mighty welder of death"tm but i got hurt and need some ammo so i tell the com "hey i almost killed this hive i need a medpack and 5 clips of ammo and it will be dust" I wait, and wait, and wait. Nothing sure enuf after a few more welder kills i dye and the hive is then sealed up tight and no more chance of getting on top of it and killingit easyly, why because of a **obscenity** commander. This is happend more times then i'd like to remember.

    Ahh yes, commanders add a whole new level to potential stupidity. On a brighter note, if the comm is mediocre, but not a complete jagoff, with just 1 or 2 people who know what they're doing, you can win. I remember one game where I single handidly (well, the comm helped a little) set up 4 hive siege bases. I destroyed 4 hives, yes 4, I killed one twice.
