they're triangulation/smoothing errors, it's an old render they're fixed now. Sharp eyes though

gun looks great but as mentioned you have some smoothing issues

think you can post up a new render flatshaded? and a wireframe?

Why is the barrel so big if it's .22? Maybe I just haven't seen enough of the P22.

edit : 3591 tri

Yeah those smoothing errors should be fixed now - I had to re-triangulate most of the slide because my poly's weren't doing it properly :S

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 22 is just the designation - it's actually .45 ACP?

Yeah, I modelled this one-handed aswell because I broke my left collarbone on tuesday. lol. Props to frostymoose* for posting those modelling tuts in the help forum, it improved my technique a lot.

the P22 comes in various calibres, but it was designed for .308 subsonic.

Most guns, such at the p228, do come in a bunch of diffrent cal.s

The model looks great, I hope this gets finished unlike 99.8% of the good p22 models. Theres only one good p22 released that I know of, and its kinda funky.

No...the P99 is designed for a few calibers. .45 and 9MM if I'm not mistaken. the P22 is a really small version chambered for .22

http://www.carl-walther.de/aktuell/P22_Set2_2674211.jpg

Notice the .22 Caliber rounds?

I'm in the midst of meshing this atm - can I get a skinner for an NS compile on 512 maps ??

[edit : yes I can mesh properly now - I watched a tut that wasn't plain wrong]

1024s/good map and ill hit it
• SpaceJesusSpaceJesus Join Date: 2004-07-02 Member: 29683Banned
I thought HL1 didn't support 1024's :s

I dont play ns, I like to use what I skin. Id rather work on 1024's and resize for an ns compile.

Fair enough, but I was under the impression that resizing the map would distort it.
It doesn't matter that much anyway, it's not hard to type different values into texporter ....

[edit: i noticed some missing faces, ill re-mesh tomorrow]
