Any Way To Change The Say Text Colour?

    Is that what your talking about? I never tried it but I assume it is a think to change text ingame.

    Say, say_team, and death messages are all sprites, not fonts. I've found no method to change their color.

    Though the fonts are sprites, you'll notice they are grey, so they can be overrided with colour.
    yes, con_color "XXX XXX XXX" RGB respectively is the way to do this.

    No, con_color does not effect the color of any of the hud items I mention.

    Wrong, it *does* affect the SAY and SAY_TEAM fonts as many people adjust con_color so that they can read in-game chat text.
    If you still don't believe me, try it.

    WHY DONT YOU TRY IT??? Because you'll prove yourself wrong.

    The only thing it appears to change are the DEVELOPER 1 messages, see attachment.

    I let NS make a new config so that it would reset to the default value for con_color (255 180 30) then I typed something out. Indeed, for NS text color is permanently in white no matter what RGB values are used.

    con_color works properly for TFC, but no idea for CS 1.6.

    Well in that case, my bad, the information then only pertains to HL in general (though I can't imagine why NS would change that...)
