Rather an interesting situation. Will leave it open for a few more days still, if there's no change we'll have to random it.

Thirteen people have posted in the thread (showing that they are around and are interested in how the next game goes). Eleven have voted, Renegade will most likely vote for himself to create a three way tie, and that just leaves me to vote. Since I will probably sign up as an alternate, I'm not sure if I should place a vote at all, and I really don't know which game I want, so it wouldn't be much better than random.org. Maybe someone else will come along and place a vote.

I just realized, I can't participate in the next game... I have to go to my uncle's cottage for a week or two soon... But I shall play the game after!

OK I say solve this by giving a story preview. No more than 50 words to get us interested enough in your game. You might see some vote swings after that, and whoever hasn't voted might have more reason to...

theslan letting the wolves pick a wolf is good. Random=bad.

Renegade

Because I need to.

When the Hunter dies, the psychic will be told a wolf has died. Remember, he cons like a wolf, but isn't really.

Ok, let's see if I got this straight:

Ehe psychic will be given a number of [number of wolves+hunter] at the end of the day. This makes the hunter look like a wolf.

When the hunter is seered, the hunter will look like a wolf.

So the hunter is in all intent and purposes a wolf, with an extra kill. He's like the lone man that can flip sides, though nobody will trust him because there's no way to verify if he's a hunter (unless he kills the person the seer/psychic requested, but any other wolf can do that).

He can play both sides. It's up to him which team he's going to bat for.

Forget what I said about 50 a word summary.

.: 3 words to pimp your story/ruleset :.

I'm going to withdraw from the election, because I'm going on a trip... The only way for me to host this time around would have been to make a signup topic before I left, then come back on August 2nd and make the pregame topic.

However, since we don't seem to be close to a winner, I need to withdraw to avoid people wondering where I am.

As for the game itself, I'll only be available as a replacement (after the 2nd...), and I may as well vote for Theslan now.

Now this is what the votes stand at and now I'm undecided.

In that case, Theslan gets my vote.

If you choose me as your host you'll come for the game, but stay for the story. I promise

Renegade, seriously, I think Theslan's winning simply because he has a more basic game.
• ByekaByeka Name changed from Freak83 Toronto Join Date: 2003-03-13 Member: 14484Members, Constellation
I've chosen Theslan.

Theslan - 8 (Fatal Error, Theslan, Nurot, Planetkiller, Isamil, EMP Demon, lolfighter, Freak83)
Renegade - 4 (Mouse, Petco, Breakthrough, Renegade)

Won't close this quite yet but it'll end within 24 hours. It's gone on long enough.

I've a pretty cool idea, kind of like the psychic, called the Undertaker, who gets a PM a the night saying what the job of the people who were lynched and wolfed that day/previous night.

If everyone's voting for the same reason as me, that's the case. Also because his is smaller, and those tend to be less chaotic.

Doesn't look like anything is going to change. Theslan's votes are double that of Renegade's.

Looks like Theslan is our new host for TWG VIII. Take it away Theslan!

Was gonna vote Slan, but I'll help you iron-out your scenario if you post a thread, Renegade.

Renegade
