    I can't believe anyone would bother to mention dislike for commercials. God invented TiVo for a reason.

    I'm going to go about this point by point.

    A)WHOA. WHOA. WHOA. WHOA. WHOA. WHOA.

    Hold on a second here. In fact, don't. Unless you have Satellite TV in Britain, British TV absolutely blows. I mean seriously. "AFRICAN DANCING!!!!!" "THE NEWS 10000!!!!" "TEN THOUSAND SMALL VARIATIONS ON THE SAME flipping INTERIOr DESIGN SHOW!!!!" "ADVENTURES IN EXTREME AUCTIONEERING!" And all of what, five channels?

    B) P&G Tea eats my insides <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    C) Hey hey hey. I'll drink my V8, you can keep eating your Weetabix. Judge not lest ye be judged.

    D) The same can be said of biscuits of all sorts. I mean, my mind was blown the first time I saw the aisle in your "Tesco" (on a related note, "every little helps"? WTH? GG english.) filled to the brim with biscuits of all sorts. It was amazing.

    E) Decades of scientific research reveals that Gerogia has the only drinkable-straight-from-the-tap water.

    Edit: I completely sympathize with your airplane troubles, madam. On my way back from Britain my dad decided to fly all four of us on Standby. This means we hang aroundin the airport, hoping that one of the flights going to America isn't full. Ohhhh I got to know Gatwick Airport pretty well. Even got a few free games of Virtua Cop 3 or whatever. And a free game of Air Hockey.

    Abso-damn-friggin-lutely false! Not long ago Consumers Reports ran a test on bottled water AND NYC tap water. The NYC tap water actually beat several of the bottled waters.

    Georgia draws their tap water from swamps mostly. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    welcome back gem, even though i dont actually know you...

    when i visited florida, Kraken was the best ride imo... although, i went a few years ago.. i went out of my way to see films out there... and do things i couldnt do here... like break new and exicting laws.. jaywalking. i wondered if it was a REAL law, or a myth. i walked across whenever possible.. but never got in trouble.

    i think its a myth.

    V8 is nice, Oreos are not.

    Oh and "every little helps" comes from a saying we have, you're reading it out of context. It refers to low prices meaning that while you may only save a few pennies compared to another supermarket, it all adds up.

    I always shop at tescos <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Seattle tap water probably comes directly from all the rain they get, which is directly related to their extremely high suicide rate and large number of coffee shops. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Oreos are the largest selling cookie in the U.S. <a href='http://www.cockeyed.com/inside/oreos/oreos.html' target='_blank'>How much is inside</a>.

    Busch Gardens abso-damn-lutely rocks for coaster rides, although I've never been on Sheikra.

    I've never met anyone who shops at Albertsons ... teh intrenet is cool. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    They may be the largest selling cookie but if you compare them to 'Fox's Crunch Creams' or any other quality biscuit then they pale in comparison.

    Truth is, if you carefully read the labels of most bottled water brands (Aquafina and Dasani spring to mind), you'l notice that they were filled from local municipal water supplies. It makes perfect sense that you can't tell the difference. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    P&G? Try scottish blend :3

    As for tap water, the water in edinburgh seems fine. I don't recall any foreigners complaining about it either. The only problem you might have in this lil city is if you're unlucky enough to live in a reaaaally old house and didn't bother to get the copper pipes replaced in which case it'll taste all horrible and metalic... but we're talking about old victorian houses here :p

    Oreos are nice but I have to go with clint on fox's crunch creams being better.
    I think the ultimate biscuit is probably fox's classics or possible hob nobs (the chocolate coated ones) :D

    ooh and of course you know me moquiao; I'm that person on that board with those posts who said those things about that stuff.
    See! You totally know me :p

    ooh! I forgot!

    Uk television is fine o.O
    Channel 4 shows all kinds of cool stuff and itv usually has something on. BBC 1 and 2 is a mixed bag though; the times you watch TV also matters, I think it gets better everywhere more towards the night than the horrors we call 'daytime television' :s

    Satellite is pretty much the same worldwide i think so I never count that :p

    So the rumors are true...Florida is still there...have to do something about that...

    For those of you not from America, our states regularly rise up into the sky along their political borders and engage in primitive mating rituals.

    I believe it was just after WWII that Illinois had a particularly messy affair with Florida and somehow Cuba got involved, anyway 9 months later Puerto Rico surfaced in International Waters....there’s still some argument over whether or not we have to pay child support.

    I was under the impression Florida’s drunken uncle Mississippi had beaten her to death in the late 60's...guess not.

    It's a device for recording programs. It can cut out adverts as well, apparently.

    There's not that much on TV that I like to watch, so I usually just find a torrent for it. If I like it, I'll buy the DVDs. (Deadwood, for example. The pilot for Extras was good, too.)
