really, it is
This is by far the best advice for rines! Look At the RES! Dont spam your com to drop you a node when he gots only 3 res! Just ask te com to stay at the node or not. I've seen many coms called nubs for not droping a node when he only has 2 or 0 res. This can prevent ejection in most cases, take care now =D

I'd say the best tip for marines is:

AIM!

This is amazingly obvious and yet a lot of people don't seem to realize it.

It's really startling.

Yup.... thats how it works for me.

Even better tip: Standing in base and screaming jp/sg will never earn you any kind of equipment.

Be agressive. This works wonders in conjunction with the aforementioned AIM.

If the comm doesn't know what he's doing and is a little overwhelmed by all of the responsibilities before him, it is your duty as a marine to spam the hell out of him to make him feel even more overwhelmed.

And if the comm does know what he's doing and doesn't have res on hand to drop the rt outside of ms, well, you're ****ed whether you want to be polite to the comm or not.

stop using stupid binds like that

if you need to have a text with the radio call then "med" "ammo" "rt" will do

i don't see what the problem is with this as long as its not abused, like yeah he can't drop it now but are you even sure he is looking at you to know that he will be able to drop one for you soon.

theres been times where ive stood around an rt for about 30 seconds waiting because the commander was too involved with something else to notice, a quick hey "i need an rt in powersilo" never hurts

i guess its a problem though when you make 20 rt requests in a few seconds or soemthing.

TOmekki, it makes sense to have the text somewhat distinctive. It's designed to draw attention, obviously.

Just doing "ammo" or "RT", etc, doesn't draw as much attention.

Besides, what difference does it make to you?

best advice get on top of the armory and camp it until you see skulks rushing in.

unless your Pro you rush to their hive and spawncamp.

Best marine advice I can give is when in groups watch each others line of fire, I can’t count the number of times I have been in a group of 3 marines when a skulk comes running at us and one of the marines runs in front and jumps around like he’s on crack blocking mine and the other guys fire, and giving the skulk the cover he needs to get close.

Oh ya, and FOLLOW THE COMM’S ORDERS!

You people are way off. The best advice for Marines, Kharaa, and anything in any other game is thus:

Kill everything, don't get killed yourself.

If you and your team can pull that off, you will win.

Lets open a new thread for every advice to marines...

we should call them...

"best advice"
"better advice"
"even better advice"
"omg wthbbq advice"
and so on...

would really rock!

oh and lets give them great descriptions too!

like

"it really is!"
"you HAVE TO do that"
"omg such a good advice"
"!11!!"

yes that would really rock!

you're all wrong. the best advice is

DON'T get in the comm chair if you 1) don't have a mic or 2) have a whinny little girl's voice (and you're a manboy)

thank you
