    a man of SUPERB taste.

    do the two SNES Final Fantasies as well; FF3 (6 for the FF nerds) is thought by many to be the best of the bunch.

    Soul Blazer rocks. A great adventure game, half RPG.

    Actraiser was unique, half the game is a standard Castlevania type sidescroller, the other half was kinda like an RTS game... I'll never be able to figure out why the made Actraiser 2 ALL sidescroller, when the RTS part was clearly the more interesting and unique part...

    I could've listed more games, but because of my bad memory its usually those.

    Other games I could mention are Final Fantasy 3 (FF6j), Final Fantasy 5 (last 2D FF game that involved the crystals), FF2 (FF4j) and another bunch of games.

    Blagh. List time!

    - FF3/FF6j
    - FF2/FF4j
    - FF5
    - Seiken Densetsu 3 (you don't even need to know anything about the first game)
    - Megaman series (I could throw in a special mention at X2 here....)
    - Legend of Zelda : Link to the Past
    - Harvest Moon (If it suits your taste...it's a farming sim that's somewhat obsessive)

    And a lot more that I just can't remember. To quote....
    <!--QuoteBegin-Ethan+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Ethan)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> I live my life, one game at a time.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    The fact that my family owned around 700 games in total is what made me such an obsessive gamer.
    Of course, they mostly went poof when I mentioned about the long arm of the law (and random console breakdowns. Whee!)
    Turned out my parents weren't particularly bright about intellectual property rights. I don't even know how they managed to make it this far <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well Chrono Trigger of course <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Super Metriod, Super Punchout, Super Castlevania IV
    Mario Kart, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario RPG
    Megaman X2, Megaman 7
    Final Fantasy III
    Street Fighter Alpha II, Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
    Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury
    Contra 4: Alien Wars
    Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
    Star Fox

    And my brain's fried so that's all I can think of right now, half the time I went to recommend a game I was thinking of something on Genesis x.x;

    EDIT: Was Shadowrun on SNES or was it Genesis-only?

    DemoWorld: The legend continues
    Super Mario all stars
    Super mario World
    super mario kart

    sadly if you want to play demoworld, you need a rom burner, and a 16 megabyte rom (very expensive and rare) and a copy of smw. or an emulator with a rom expander to apply the patch.

    for those of you that dont know what demoworld is, it was a full hack of SMW made by LunarMagic that completely re-wrote the game from the ground up. (all except the boss levels because those were hard coded in assembly and uses mode7 for a pseudo 2d layout.) the world layout is 100% different, and so are the levels. it is also alot harder than SMW, i have played it for about 4 hours straight and have not been able to get past about 25% of the game.

    Agreed, although good luck on finding that ANYWHERE.

    Other than that, I can't think of any that haven't already been said.

    Why has no-one yet said "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars"?

    Get that one, if you don't it will be a huge mistake.

    Super Mario RPG is very good.

    Plus of course Secret of Mana and Chron Trigger, these men know the truth.
