    Holy crap, that's genius.
    Looks like a german city. Wonder which one it is.
    Heh. Only a german city could have a "Warstreet."

    I declare a rule: Nobody may explain this to the unwitting. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Edit: Oh, it's Karlsruhe. Duh.

    Neat-o but only kinda. It would have been waaaay cooler if they did it with 3d augmentation.

    Took me half a second. Thats really cool.

    I've never seen Tron and I get it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> . It seems so much easier though - you can stop and stuff. You could just go in the biggest circle and then continue to spiral outwards so everyone else runs out of space.

    ...unless the playing field is limited...but I didn't see anything about that.

    [pffft, need bicycles]

    Yeah, spiral outwards. If you're the kind of person who plays GPS Tron, you're probably out of shape/fat. Spiraling outwards is going to get you tired out real fast.

    I have no clue, but I think you have to circle the other players?

    This isn't the disc-throwing Tron that everybody thinks of... it's the lightcycle part.

    The cars drive around, and if anybody's car intersects with another's path, then that person loses. The GPS keeps track of their paths.

    Everyone who remembers Tron remembers it for its lightcycles, not its triforce frisbees!

    This is a sweet usage of GPS, but I don't know how safe that could actually be in cars. Bicycles would result in smaller playing fields, hrm.

    For the people who don't get it: This is a replica of the Lightcycles game from Tron, using GPS.

    The basic idea of Lightcycles was that people took control of "motorcycles", and drove around a game grid. As they drove, they left "walls" behind them. The goal of the game was to get everyone else to crash in to a wall without crashing in to one yourself. When you crash in to a wall, your walls disappear.

    This version is like the Lightcycles game, except it tracks players walking/biking/driving around a city and draws walls behind them.

    It's a much better and cooler attempt than that Ricochet mod <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
