    Valerie Plame was the wife of a former ambassador who had been very critical of the justification of the iraq war. She was also a covert CIA agent until Robert Novak leaked that information in a column. The whole controversy over anonymous sources in the media has been about this case, because several new agencies were told about Valerie Plame by someone in the Bush Administration, but had refused to reveal their sources. However, Time was just ordered to submit their documentation by the court in which the investigation is currently taking place.

    Karl Rove leaked the name of a covert CIA agent to the media. This is a felony.
