Hawthorne, something you may or may not be interested in is joining a new omega team and just helping train their comm whenever your around. It would keep you playing ns matches, but not the 20-30 hour a week exigent committments. Plus you would really help a new team.

He was the first one to introduce me to the command chair and helped me out until we played on somewhat level ground for the sphere vs wmd match, and some of his skills rubbed off on others.

I respect the fact you have many friends here by the looks of it which is why i can partly understand why you said bye here.
If its realife i can understand making ya goodbye known to your friends but if it is to do with a game then i believe it should be a silent leave not an "I'm leaving and here is my entire game life story to go with it".
So now i will just say that the majority here obviously don't agree with me and i couldn't care any less.
If you met this person in realife then i can understand saying bye to him but as most of you haven't for all you know you could be saying bye to someone playing a trick on you.

I see a guy who's contributed loads to the community, is a competitive player who's done great things, and someone deserving a bit of respect for that. Hui has done his share. He was the first one to introduce me to the command chair and helped me out until we played on somewhat level ground for the sphere vs wmd match, and some of his skills rubbed off on others.
I am a strong believer that if you leave to leave silently.
I respect the fact you have many friends here by the looks of it which is why i can partly understand why you said bye here.
If its realife i can understand making ya goodbye known to your friends but if it is to do with a game then i believe it should be a silent leave not an "I'm leaving and here is my entire game life story to go with it".
So now i will just say that the majority here obviously don't agree with me and i couldn't care any less.
If you met this person in realife then i can understand saying bye to him but as most of you haven't for all you know you could be saying bye to someone playing a trick on you.

If he's playing a trick on us I'd be relieved, not furious. I see a guy who's contributed loads to the community, is a competitive player who's done great things, and someone deserving a bit of respect for that. It makes me wish that I'd found NS earlier and joined up to CAL earlier, but as that's not the case, I feel obligated to at least say goodbye. So, once again, best of luck to you man.
