OMG I can't believe that. Yes, he expressed his opinions, yes, it may not please you. He may flamed a bit but, but that doesen't mean you have to flame him too. One said, what he thinks of that opinione, another wasted our time by telling that he doesen't like his opinion and a couple of other guys followed that path of stupidity. One is ok, two are ok too, but it's just stupid when everyone repeats the same thing all the time.

    no?

must just be a "me" thing then.

I myself got sick of hearing the devs and their fanboys promises. im sick of the way this game is balanced for the average joe and not for johnny come-hardcore.

im sick of the way all of the devs promises, some years old, have not come true.

im sick of the way were constantly kept int he dark about pretty much everything.

im pretty much sick of ns, and the constant **** thrown around on these forums. if you guys ever do actually manage to balance this game for clanners and pubbers alike, ill come back and play.

and for all those minions: i know the devs dont owe me a god damn thing. i know they have their own ways. but im tired of it. so yea. so long. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->

So many great changes are being implimented, that effect the look, feel and address some issues that have plaged NS for many many builds. I sadly cant talk about them but I can assure you and everyone interested that 3.1 is going to attract a whole new wave of players for all the right reasons.

its like Flayra has said before, "Please everybody, thats impossible." But this build gets about as close to that ideal as ive seen yet.

Man, you guys have some serious issue with scope creep it seems.

To any of the devs, are smaller client updates seen to be of any value, or is the objective to make every client update have a wealth of new features to make sure people find it worth downloading? There hasn't been a small client update in the history of NS.

I don't know if it would be possible to pull this off with the way the code is structured, but it seems like it would make more sense to release bugfixing and balancing client updates as they become available rather than letting everything langish until an entire new feature set is implemented and polished.

We have so far been releasing monthly server updates for balancing. Small client updates is the kind of thing most people don't want to bother with, even though they may have some new cool features. Splitting the community to different versions is not something we want, but it's way too easy to accomplish.

Besides, the distribution and release itself is not something that doesn't take time. The more frequent we do it, the more time we spend doing it, and the less time we have working on this.

Makes sense, although personally, I think I would prefer having a bugfixing/balancing only branch released halfway through the timeline between major feature releases.

i dont play ns that much anymore, considering the playerbase i used to have on my server is gone, no point in playing it much anymore.
