<div class="IPBDescription">3D Concept</div> My mates been working on this and plays NS a lot and wanted to ask what the community things of this. He's pretty new to 3D modelling. He's messed around in it a bit but this was his first major project.

I'll be working with him to help with smoothing/poly reduction and the like. So perhaps expect more in the future. I'll force him to make some replacement stuff. BWAHAHAHA

Velocia-Enigma Gattling Cannon.
High velocity vehicle weapon.
Commonly used on scanners and scoutships

    besides the bad smoothing, its nice...only the lack of a propper feed chute dissapoints me.. feeding the ammo this way at the rate of fire a gatling gun usualy have , its getting jammy.. in the worst case you even damage the ammo.. and the lack of an horizontal recoil dampening system hmm... anyway, nice one

    cool, i gotta go with sheena on the engineering side of things this thing could be a bit hazardous, but as far as way cool futureistic vechal mounted weapons go this thing rocks

    and it looks like its rendered with anim8or. anyway its best minigun wt ive even seen, reducing polys would make it **** except removing bipods if its gonna be v_model

    rendered in maya, but I couldn't be bothered to spend much time on it, if you want a full scene or soming I could try to knock one up, and I'm gonna get him to sign up as well.

    What is this a replacement for? Or is it just messing around? The first model I made was in Maya, a blocky auto-shotty intended for NS but sitting on my HD 65% complete.

    Trust me, I was as surprised as you. I've seen stuff he did a few weeks before that would make your eyes bleed, then he said that he was looking over some tutorials he found then he came out with this after a few days.

    I'll chuck together some more renders later

    lowest rate of fire would be about 700 rounds per minute. (and even this is hard to imagine)

    but it looks pretty cool with the bend in the belt. you should keep it that way.

    and thats the point where I have to scream "DEVS, why oh why has the sentry gun been removed form the .fgd!!!" again.
