im having trouble running a server on my comp, i have 2 computers i whant to set the other up to run a ns server,and what do i need?
i think i have managed to run a dedicated server but i cant see to find it nor connect to it it there a way to see the ip???
i got a zyxel ruter!
steam?
a validated valve key?

You don't need a SteamID but you still have to create an account.

i do have 2 hl cds but both cdkeys are taken,can u use steam then?

You install your hlds, then install Steam, register your Steam account (no cd required), update the hlds, run the half-life game to ensure all is installed and updated, then install NS. This of course is the simplified version but if you click on my link above and view Vadakill's turorial all will go smoothly.

I can't remember if it needs quotes
