<div class="IPBDescription">I can't belive how blatent a NS rip-off</div> This seriously **** me off. These foul bastards have stolen game idea, after original game idea from Natural Selection. Even the look the of this "infested" game is so close to NS is is scary. I hope I bump into one of these twerps from Black Cat games, at a game convention some time, cuzz this has to be one of the most scandelious atempts ive ever seen to pirate someones work and community.
I hope people will see these people for what they are and refuse to play this game, refuse to take part in the thieft of countless of hours of work the Natural Selection dev team has put in over the years. I honestly hope that legal action is pursued to block this "Black Cat Games" group from stealing the fire that NS cultivated.

I hope other people will send these people e-mails and let them know that what they are doing is discusting, and so many of thier game features so closely mimic NS as to leave thier game a creative void.
This Alien Swarm mod isnt new it first came around in UT as a mod but its development has trailed NS by over a year. Now they want to come mussle in on Half-Life 2. Why do game development when you can just pop over to the Natural Selection Forums and steal everything UnknownWorlds is doing? Hell why make an original game when we can copy the feel of NS? Sure NS leans hevily on The Aliens Movie feel however the cocepts were adapted to a game now these people are not adapting they are copy/pasteing. The few original ideas they have involve AI, other then that it has Single player NS written all over it from top to bottom.
I know this game has been on the radar for a while, but this announced leap into HL2 is so foul I can barely put it into words. Flayra I hope you will speak with a lawyer, and approch these "Black Cat" people with a cese and decist order. The time that the NS team has spent giveing birth to these ideas is so vast. To sit by and allow them to plagerize NS would be poor judgement in my oppinion ( for what thats worth )

This has to be a joke, right? This same thread has been posted I think four times before on these forums. You're a PT as well, where do they get you guys from?
They pick us up off the streets, once they get us off the drugs they try desperatly to turn us in to forum junkies who spend every spare hour that were not in rehab flameing people on the forums about their oppinions.
And the best perk of the job is that we always seem to hear posts from bitter people who beilve we should posses god like PT powers and be perfect in every way, lest we should make a mistake and destroy their misconceptions about the human race being perfect.

So now they've moved it to the HL2 engine? More power to them. This particular mod, as you know, has been mentioned before. And like the fate of all threads disheartened over the resemblence of an aliens vs marines plot or even an rts mixed with fps much like our beloved NS, this topic is and has been beaten to death.
