yea i just recognized i used the wrong word, i meant the HUD only (mainly the numbers, armor/health and the blue parts of the marine hud)

thanks for the info that they will be on the site when it gets up.. alas i need it now not god knows when. no offense meant

i am as far as checking some CS sites (should have tried that first) and found some. got Spritviewer and spritewizard now ... well first NS seems to use sprites that where meant for CS as far as i can tell ( so this IS a C4 symbol for the gorge babblers i am not crazy heh). and i havent found all the blue parts yet. sheesh alot of sprites in there :O anyone can help me out here who maybe has already identified all sprites and what they represent? would save me and propably other people who want to get into this some time

I am going to write a few articles for NS Sprites, a new website devoted to such things. I'll try to address all of these questions, theres no point writing something out twice.

you will require a couple of things:

a) An install of NS
b) A copy of sprview and spritewiz (check Here)
c) A half decent paint program (yes MS paint will work, but...)
d) An Idea of what you wanna do to them.

then go to:

<ns dir>/sprites/
check out the 640*.spr and marine*.spr and you can check out others as well, but they appear to be most of the hud.
