<div class="IPBDescription">prefably psp7</div> I do have adobe but I can't really use it at all.
What I need help on is that i am makinga board game instructions manual leaflet and I want it to look like an old book, you know the type you see in medieval times (make syou wonder, could they not have taken better care)

I'd also like it to have a sort of leather effect :/

EDIT: it does look blurred? is their a reason or was itbecause of the jpg file.

Someting to give it a similiar look to an old book as the 1st post has the link to an image of an old book.
Keeping the same style of colour would be good, think of it as an olde book but red not the usual brown.

is there a way to upload the image and still have it layered while still allowing you guys to open the file, cause I don't know any otherfile formats that allow layered images without flattening them down to 1 layer.
Unless you can open a .psp file that would just be so much better.

[edit]I've hit a stuck spot. Gimp won't open up your psp's (most likely not your fault) and the peicework images are ok, except I can't work with the ring at all without proper transparentcy on the background (as if I try to rip all the white out of it most of the shine gets converted to transparent too)
The background and the other parts work fine, I just rip the white and black to alpha, but I can't start the meat an patatoes of this project until I get a clean image of that ring, since it is the centerpeice and the part that fudges up most if you just apply wear to the whole image evenly.

Edit: as this is the front cover of the leaflet, I still haven't planned out what the back part of the leaflet should look like, but it should still carry on the worn out theme.
Note: Can't believe I named the thread title wore down instead of worn out...god I not thinky good.
