<div class="IPBDescription">Prepare yourself...</div> Ever make something that you thought was the biggest, coolest thing ever made out of Legos EVER?

You were wrong. In fact, in comparison, chances are your creation looks like a mindless mishmash of pieces hastily thrown together. In comparison, they are.

Ladies and gentlemen, DAN JASSIM!

EDIT: Note, the bar on the left hand side allows you to see some of his other works. I reccomend the Gibraltar.

That A Wing Carrier is awsome. I love how he not only builds the outside but he also makes all the inside parts as well like the bridge, cabin/crew area, repaire bays, sick bay and stuff.

Jesus! I'm impressed, I've probably got a million pieces but not enough bits to make anything like that.

And just out of interest, is it Americans who say "Legos" with an S on the end? Anyone I know has never used plural.

Indeed, never heard Lego referred to as "Legos" by anyone who isn't American.

Wonder how they managed to create the optical illusion though, is that photoshop or does it actually exist? :o

I remember that lego escher stuff. It exists, but only when the camera is at that angle. It's not a photoshop, but still an optical illusion.

Is it that there is actually 'NO' stairway that leads down? its just revolves around and around until the lego men pick up a brain to discover it.

Lego Men really move when we're asleep!

It exists, or at least is feasibly possible regardless. The secret is that the staircase isn't joined (obviously because it's physically impossible.) I remember doing something like this years ago with a piece of card. You set it up, and when it's viewed at the right angle, it looks like the optical illusion we all love.

    It's exceptionally well made, though.

Just to add, it also deals with the camera angle. Any other angle would've showed a disconnected stair.

You can do the same with toy blocks and action figures.
  • GwahirGwahir Join Date: 2002-04-24 Member: 513Members, Constellation
how many times must we repeat "camera angle?"

Good for noting, you are indeed correct, but I'm afraid it's been mentioned.
