    very nice wallpaper!
    is there some version in a bigger size?
    1024*768 would be nice =) I'd take it as my new background wallpaper and I'd also add it to the wallpaper gallery on my homepage if you give me your permission.

    -edit-
    no need for a bigger size =) the current version fits very nice <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    nice <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    only suggestion is to add a bit of roughness to the planet, can easily be done by placing an omni light on it, then at the very bottom of the menu fiddle with the mountain settings

    Yeah <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Worked out pretty nice, but I think it gets too much of a plastic feel to it.

    very nice... the color somehow reminds me of constantine though.
    the planet surface still seems a bit... unnatural

    without the comets a TSA ship would also perfect fit in that pic =)

    Oh my, it's Eple!

    I like it! The only suggestion I'd make is that the starfield is a little sparse. Make it denser with lots of littler stars and a few really bright ones, and that would look damned cool.

    My laptop's native res is 1400x1050.

    I can host the full size one if you want eple.

    Tried out the changes you suggested Insane, I like it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> And DB, I've dropped off a PM to you (don't have no access to no IRC 'round now).

    And if anyone is having problems with the texture of the planet, let us ust say it's a gass giant, be happy I didn't make it unicolored <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    (actually, the original has som cewl scanlines but the jgp fubars that up so i took it out)

    What do you think about the new version?

    An Lt Realness, the stars are different, seems more natural in the second pic.

    I believe <a href='http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts_arts/making_a_star_field.html' target='_blank'>this</a> is more pwn, but its still pretty good.
