Oh my god. Buzz bunny? I think I'm going to cry

So apparently cool and hip means having laser eyes, doing Kung-Fu, and being a jerk. Woo...

Carefactor: 0. Unless you're some kind of kid trapped in an adult body, no one cares.

Will probably be crap. I can hardly see any good coming out of this venture. That kind of drawing style just does not compute with the kind of slapstick humour we expect from Bugs and gang. Also, superheroes? WTH? Duck Dodgers worked but that was more because the character was not your typical superhero but this one looks stupid. Crossing X-men with Loony Toons? Does. Not. Com-pute.

I think the last time I heard someone try to use "hip" in this manner, their sentence ended with "ya dig?" or "you dig it?"

I'm only 20 years old and was a child of the 1980's and Buggs Bunny was still funny as hell to me as he was to my father who was a child of the early 1960's. The fact that he was clever and could easily trick Elmer Fudd even though he had nothing but his wits was what made him funny. Now what, Fudd will chase him around in a hover car shooting at NEO-BUGZZZ (name changed to sound more eXtreme!!!11!!) with a rocket launcher? Just doesn't seem right to me.

As a matter of fact, I will get a hold of the guy who decided to **** bugs bunny up the **** and just! This really pisses me off!

No, it'll be a hover-wheelchair with rockets, because the show concept designers are absolutely certain that the elderly Elmer Fudd isn't "hip and cool" to these kids.

Elmer Fudd will also be African-American in order to be more politically correct.

    Fresh cool and hip...

By ripping off half a dozen other cartoons and the now dated format of "set it in the future and turn the existing story on its head".

    Wow, how original.

The two are both so drastically different I can't really associate them with each other... I guess that's why I'm none too bothered really :3

If they'd just not bothered to mention the fact it was supposed to be revamped loony toon chars I doubt anyone would've cared nor noticed mostly and then the new series would've been taken on it's own merits.

They should just forget the whole 'loony toons in the future' part and promote as well as treat it as something new :/

I agree, the characters originality and attitudes are becoming some what lower in society. Let us hope none of the characters turn out like a thug from London talking about 'bevvies at their crib'.

Is it any surprize in realization of the fact that the super hero themed cartoons are the only ones holding a decent rating in the kid market right now?

Warner is just following a trend, it's an insult to all us old purists, and I don't like any more then any of you do, but that's the way TV is moving these days, and every large entertainment company is going to do whatever they can to make as much money as possible off of every trend.

I'm sure they will do something to distinctify in order to not entirely alienate our audiance, but it will be garbage, pretty much like the whole concept of the show.

That's not right. Like the article's title states, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". This is especially true in this case. Why change the classic characters? I know to "keep up with the times" but comon. TBH, I think the new Bugs looks kinda freaky. Little kids might be a little freaked out I think.
