    I have learned the bacics of bhopping now <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I can increase speed without pressing forward

    I run forward, I lool left and stafe left, jump, release my forward button, press right strafe, mouse 2 right etc etc Is that the right way?

    But jumping on the right time is hard.. I have the rollmouse script but how does the 3jump script works?

    bind "x" "+3jump" <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    You have to press the 3jump key slightly before you hit the ground, to jump as soon as possible and avoid ground friction.

    You can try it with mwheelup and mwheeldown bound to +jump and roll it when you are about to hit the ground. It may be easier to learn.

    my keyboard throws a fit if I hold duck+jump+strafe and refuses to accept at least one of the buttons. Can you make a toggle crouch script for B6 which isn't blocked by the BS Blockers_1?

    bind f +duck works for me.

    What all is blocked by the script blocking anyway?

    It blocks :
    <!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->-Several commands directly bound to a key :
    bind l "kill;say lol"

    -Aliases containing +commands:
    alias +3jump "+jump; wait; -jump; wait;+jump; wait; -jump; wait;+jump; wait"
    alias -3jump "-jump"
    <!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->

    <!--QuoteBegin-obuh+Jan 25 2005, 03:50 AM--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (obuh @ Jan 25 2005, 03:50 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->It blocks :
    <!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->-Several commands directly bound to a key :
    bind l "kill;say lol"

    -Aliases containing +commands:
    alias +3jump "+jump; wait; -jump; wait;+jump; wait; -jump; wait;+jump; wait"
    alias -3jump "-jump"
    <!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2--><!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    It does this, but there's a work-around for the first part.

    Instead of
    <!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
    bind l "kill; say lol"
    <!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
    You alias it out like this
    <!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
    alias killol "kill; say lol"
    bind l killol
    <!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->

    The above doesnt work with commands such as +jump, +attack and +duck (commands containing a +).

    Indeed. Though I don't see why multiple commands cannot be bound to a key when you can just alias it out. To make the evil scripters' life a little bit harder maybe ? Another effect of the blockscripts feature is that typing +commands directly in the console is also blocked. No more crazy dead bodies spinning indefinitely ):

    hmm so I CAN make a +duck and a seperate -duck button. just I cannot alias them onto a single toggle switch any more?

    This is really silly...all they need to block are _special scripts, they were the only abusable ones.

    Bind your +jump button to mwheeldown and spam it just before you land. The timing needs to be very precise otherwise you'll lose speed because you'll land on the ground and essentially stick to it for a bit. It's very difficult to get the hang of and takes a very long time to become good at.

    there's so much on bunny hopping and yes i admit it's a really huge advantage - the speed boost can sometimes save a gorge's life or an rt, whereas if u run normally u wouldn't have made it. it also enables u to reach a marine at large distances and u might not take as much damage.

    but i can't bunny hop all that well myself and i can say confidently that that isn't the end of your skulking career. you can easily still get _many_ kills without this skill so don't fret over it too much.

    Gorge bhop is most easy but skulks is not so easy. I have probelms due the skulk jump is actually quite long so you need to adjust yourself to wait for a moment before rulling the mwheel. <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif' /><!--endemo--> (no skulks in this thread yet!)

    and Adi0 GJ now we all know how to do it!"!!111eleven
