Platonic Solid: Icosahedron

I made one for you sphere-wanters.
Want a sphere in your map, but dont want to go through the hastle of creating something that lacks symmetry? Want a sphere that you can use with little effort, has a low number of non-NULL faces (twenty!) and looks technologically advanced as well?

Fret no more, your 12 vertice, 20 sided Icosahedron is here for the low price of 1.22 kilobytes of bandwidth. Scaled to as close as possible to the Golden Ratio, this Icosahedron is easily scalable. Shrink to a size of your liking at will!

If anybody really really wants it I might put effort into doing other platonic solids or maybe even the truncated dodecahedron (which looks even better, but has more polygons. It's the soccer ball shape.)

Oops will be corrected, my apologies.

Any exciting pictures of said solid, perhaps?

Look up an icosahedron on the internet. It has 20 faces, each face is a triangle, and it makes one of five regular (see: Platonic) solids.

It's just a nice, compact shape that you can use in place of spheres. There are of course other, more complex, shapes that I could make, if I felt bored enough.

hmm maybe I'm different, but it does not look like anything I would use as a sphere. It's too blocky.
But still, interesting idea. maybe you can carry on with it, and trying to find the real sphere replacement for HL? And you could consider, not to make it 8000x8000x8000 units next time, noone will ever need it that large

The point is to make it as large as possible to be accurate to the mathematical model for an icosahedron. My model is .5 by .5 by .5 too large.
