<div class="IPBDescription">Free 2D platform action MMORPG</div> Whelp... I've been kinda quiet lately and though I've mentioned it in passing I guess it's about time I gave it some proper exposure.

The premise of the game is simple; it's a 2D platormer and an MMORPG. Therefore you hop about in a platformy world killing baddies and getting phat lewt lol. Combat works off real-time collisions so basically there's space there for good player skills. If you take a ranged job class it even feels a bit like megaman sometimes o.O
It's built in the same vein as Ragnarok Online with everyone starting as a 'beginner' class then choosing one of 4 jobs when they 'come of age' which in turn branch off into higher and more specialised ones =D
The game is currently in open beta but once finished the game will remain free from subscription or 'buying' cost. The team makes their money from the 'cash shops' where you can spend a couple of pennies whenver you feel like it to spruce your character up with new hair, a new face, limited edition clothes, a pet or even a market stall o.O
Essentially it seems to be the same kind of idea as habbo hotel; you can totally play the game without investing a penny but if you do feel inclined to add more to your lil char's life with the cold hard stuff then it's embarrassingly cheap.
Note that the cash shop is offline during the beta though but you can have a peek and see what's coming.
Also to be included are minigames and the 'free market' (what the stalls are for) amongst other things including more lands than there currently are and more character customisation =D
It's free and always will be so feel free to jump on.
If I'm on I'm 'Jemma' so add me to your friends lists if you want along with any of the others playing (dubb, bacon, redford, etc).
As with any free game there's a few jerks around but they're easy to ignore (because they almost never talk) and there's an anti-looter timer on drops so they can't interfere much (xp is gained from killed monsters by what % of health you took off it too so 'ksing' isn't really worth worrying about and it's fun to team-attack stuff and there's so many badguys finding them is never a problem o.O).
Anyways... think that's it covered.
Advice on classes though; if you're going warrior level strength, bowman is dex, mage is intelligence and thief is luck.
Note that cleric is actually a 2nd level job for the mage =o
Most of the other stuff is covered on the site well enough except maybe that ninja stars need a claw to be thrown (like arrows need a bow to be shot XD ).
You might get the occasional lag-storm but that's because the current server is in korea... they plan on moving it come final release. To be honest you get more time without horrific lag than with so it's all good ^^

Suggestion, these are the people who I tend to see most:

add them, if they are talking to some one and you can't see em, ask em who else is on. Add those people. If your list gets full, remove some one you don't see that often (or who just isn't on) and add the new person. The chance that there will actualy be 20 of us on at one time is unlikely <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
(and here we find out that there is a 20 person limit for buddies, untill you pay some dude alot of $$, I am going to deleate secondary names, so speak up for your primaries, or if you are not playing)

I'll download it on weekend, it sounds fun.
<b>extra gem edit:</b> the beginner class can get a bit boring after a while because you don't have any skills but once you get into a proper class (level 10 unless you're aiming for mage which is level 8) and start spending those skill points it can be very entertaining =D
If anything it's a very good replacement for chatrooms lol.
F1-F7 keys make your char do funny facial expressions ^^
Well it's not like i'm antisocial or anything, it just seems that there's not a single other player in the game that has actually played a social game before. =/

I've totally forgotten one or two names and I can't guarantee I've not missed anyone or those mentioned will always be on but that's all I know for now =3
Oh and I'm aiming for bandit not assassin XD
<b>P.S.</b> if you've got any Qs just ask... I'll try to answer what I know ^^
useful stuff to know:
- dex effects chances to hit with everything but magic but don't go nutty on it unless you're a bowman.
- cards don't do poop right now
- ore is worth lots and if you sell it to players you can get more than the store buying price
- weapon damage is based partially on the strike you do; swords do normal damage no matter what while axes do more if you slice instead of stab as well as poleaxes and polearms do more damage from stabs. I have no idea how to (or even if you can) choose your attack type when hammering the attack button ^^;
- Don't be afraid to jump over baddies. some are extremely hard to fight otherwise especially if it's getting laggy
- Avoid channel 1. It's the fullest and therefore the laggiest. read the bars to see which is the lightest and you can all clump together later on the same channel once you join =3
- areas with lots of people lag more. If you're lagging go through a portal to a less occupied area if it's really bugging you.
- you can buy warp scrolls at the town potion shops. Each town sells a generic 'town' one for 400 which warps you to the nearest one and a town specific one for 500 that warps you to that town and only that town. Grab one for your job's hometown whenever possible and collect ones for towns you like to visit often like henesys and ellion ^^
- Partying up helps! if you all stay on the same area and kill fast you'll all level pretty darn quick =3
- always check the gender of stuff before buying it... seriously ^^;
