when your playing online, any game that you can use your mic on. there is always someone that will make fun of a person or people that has high pitched voice kids, or people. even if they are adults, they are imature. i see lots of people moking other players because they have high pitched voice, they get mocked and mocked over and over again. people who mock them are immature idiots, even if they are adults. mocking someone like that over their voice is just as same as going into public and seeing a kid talking, and they shout omg!!11one1 noob! 10 year old ***!!! SUYF!!! now, i am not talking about people who do, "plz dont talk" or "your voice is annoying, dont talk plz" i am talking stuff like this "guys! i ned help in hive!" other guy goes "(mocking voice) bla bla bla!!! Waaa, guys i need help!!" thats what i am talking about. it gets me mad when i see idiots doing stuff like that. everyone was once a kid, everyone had a high pitched voice. you can tell them to be quite, or tell them not to talk nicely, not mock them. mocking will usually end in flame wars, where the kid is mad, but the immature adult is having fun mocking the poor child. doing this over the internet is exactly same as going into public and saying that stuff. for people who do that, think backwards, what if you were the kid, and they mocked you? and dont give me **** like "i would egnore them" and stuff. you will be angry, very angry. when you think it that way, you might think, "how have i not noticed how cruel and mean these mocking were?" seriously, dont give those bullsiht to me"i wouldnt care, i would egnore them" because thats ****. everyone had a high pitched voice once in their life, so dont mock them, be nice, tell them to not talk or something, because if i see you mocking a xhild, i will personaly kick you **** someway or another

They never say anything that has anything to do with the game. I don't mute the guy who quickly once in a while says: "Weld me" or "Phase up in hive, go go go"
But damn, when some little foreign kid enters the server and the first thing he have to do is scream in some foreign language: "Hi giiiys ii'm tiin yiers iiild iind I've jiist git a niiiiw miic!!!" the first I do is type "SUYF!" and mute the whole server.

You need to find better servers then, because that happens alot on the servers I frequent :/

Just because I have a naturally high pitched voice, People will insult me and come up with the most idiotic comment while I am pointing out that our one and only hive is being seiged from a small vent below the hive.
After a while, it's so natural that either I become the annoying person that everyone hates (just to smite them), or just shrug it off.
*As a side note, why do people state when they mute someone. Every time I say something (helpful or not), they always state that they muted me. Not only does it take time to type out that they muted me, it's pretty pointless as I could really care less whether or not you muted me.

it's a personal attack and really is uncalled for.
I guess you guys just think you have these sexy voices and the whole server is swooning when you talk.
it's pointless, instingating, and stupid. people need to grow up. namely, people like marine animal.
Note: I have heard the last two said on more than one occassion, and not by an older novice/"noob" at NS... from my experiances its always in the age bracket of 13 and below.

I'm sure the mockings isn't directed in any way to a mature with high-pitched voice, since we can't see each real faces in the game, people assuming you being a kid is also, natural, might not be an excuse, but it's an explanation.
I do mind however when they go WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for a minute at random times like some crackpot kid did the other night on a server. I did mute and unmute him at times. Admin slapped him around 'cause he didn't SUYF which is great. There is a diff between high pitched voices and people with high pitched voices that shout just to be stupid.
"woh I'm walking down this dark corridor, mmm i can hear footsteps! oh wait its just a marine hahaha, ok now i'm going to go into this hive and- aaaaaaaaAAAAaaaAaArgh!?"
Not really. If you can't deal with people making fun of your voice over the internet you might have problems that go a bit deeper than a high pitched voice.

I had some real fun with these idiots on this one server. I set my mic next to my TV, which I had Star Ocean playing. I was in a battle with a "nobleman". These things don't fight or anything, they just run around and say really stupid things.
So I was practically spamming the game with "What do you think you're doing??" and "Please, if you only spare my life!" and the most famous "Auuughh! My... money! My... money!"
Funny thing was, the people on the server thought it was me saying these things. Even better, all talk was on.
An onos came at me and the nobleman said the spare life line, and the onos stopped and laughed. It was good fun.
Also one time I was responding to people over the mic with an Arnold soundboard. Good stuff.
I remember on a CS game awhile back on that one map with the airplane in the snow (so sue me I don't remember the name of it) where there was this guy who apparent must have had a little brother and had gone AFK and this brother came up and started talking into the mic. I swear this kid was like four or something and there was this one other guy who was like man wth is going on with people having a obviously really younf kid playing a mature rated FPS. Anyways I forget how the story went exactly but the kid never stopped talking and then this little voice started talking smack saying things like "f-ck you" I'm like <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo--> and the other guy was like no "f-u you little ****!" It was so funny hearing this little voice talking smack that the whole server was laughing. I myself was laughing so hard I had tears going down my face.
PS: When I run a server I'll kick people for immaturity. And it's really great fun being in a mature environment. Sure we all talk **** and cuss a lot but we also have more fun and you won't hear people saying "omg you are a cheater! omg hax! fu cheater!" when I'm around. To me accusations are <i>just</i> as annoying as when someone actually cheats.
I don't know where I can even begin talking about idiots in the game. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> (isn't that sad) I've seen a lot, if I hear a similar story here then I might remember a specific story to share until then take my word that I have seen some incredibly stupid people.
