I dont know if any of you played Stronghold or Lords of the Realm, but if your like me you loved 'em both. Not much info yet but it makes me happy and is much sexier than stronghold 1, although it will be in 3d, (i am not a fan of current 3d strat games, cept for maybe C&C Generals, and RON)

well, the interface is crappy, to say the least. Well crappy may not be the right word on second thought, but it is daunting at first. basically you start off with a few supplies and build up your resource base. Seems simple at first, but to build a soldier you need to get him a sword and armor and a peasant to draft from. you melt iron etc, harvest it, get wood and more. i didnt really like the idea of having to go through so much to get a soldier. once you learn to play its really quite easy, and you will enjoy watching hundreds of men burn in pitch fires and get shot down from your high embatelments THAT YOU DESIGN AND BUILD. thats probably the coolest thing about it, your castles are frikken awsome. also this game has some pretty good humor in it toojavascript:emoticon(':D')

or you can skip all that and just play siege that missions and play on pre built castles (real ones too) and either siege or be sieged.
well nuff said, i really recommend this game ( the single player is actually quite entertaining)

Anyway, as far as I can tell, it is basically one of those uber detailed RTS games then? Kinda like Settlers 1/2/3 except less focus on city building and more on fighting. Might be fun. I might pick up the original if I have time.
