    I've got a pretty good collection of cards myself... full set of the first set, all but 3 cards from Jungle, and an appreciable amount of cards from Fossil & Team Rocket. Of course, that also means I have a whole lot of commons/uncommons... probably more than you'd ever need.

    I also have a few of the little promo 3-packs they sold for a while (the ones with the holo- ladyba and merril), as well as the 4 promo cards that came with tickets for the first movie, and the promo card from the Pokemon CCG game for Game Boy Color.

    I'll tell you why MTG is so much better than all other card games: because in the origional rules it told little children to gamble. That's why it rules. And also, it has lightning bolts in it, which you can yell the name of as you cast them.

    hmm... ive got like 2 binders full of cards, rare and all sorts of crap that i havent look at in years.... i remember the first time i got a pack i got the tiny water turtle the medium one and the uber one all in the same thing... made me happy... hmm and the gb games, i have yellow and blue and i tried to sell them to a game store, but i asked how much id get over the phone, and the guy goes "well do you have silver or gold?" "no yellow and blue" (long pause) ".... oh .... those are like .... $2.00 ...."

    Wow. You are caught between two polar extreme stereotypes. How does it feel?

    I was going to freak out when I saw that our Lead Playtester plays <i>Pokemon</i>, and then I saw that this thread is full of other people talking about it so then I was like "Who <i>are</i> you people? Where did the NS Forumites go?"

    Then I remembered my wasted years in highschool, burning money like no tomorrow on that Blasted M:tG. I have to say, those were fun days. Especially junior year.

    I never touched Pokemon the card game because at the moment I was in MtG and couldn't see Pokemon anywhere near in any aspect, be it fun, card art, flexibility, tactics, choice, possibilities, etc.


    Though that might be a wrong view on the game.




    And I repeat myself, if you can find them anywhere, GET BATTLETECH.
    A mechwarrior universe in a card game that doesn't use the label poorly as a mere commercial argument? Yes sir!
