Looks great <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the long strips of red light. I think it would look better if you broke those up somehow.

The floors and ceilings in most areas look incredibly flat and boring. Even some walls are pretty flat. It's pretty nice though.

Looks great. And yes, I agree with the red, it's kinda using the space of the other colors.

looks very nice but yeah the surfaces -are- a little too flat. focus on the architecture, it'll look even better. i wish i had some ideas to give u but i dont :(

Easy, in screenshots 1,2,3,4 bring out the top and bottom MetallicPlatePanel sections, keep the red where it is (although maybe scale down a bit if possible, or use a continuous beaming red, moving from top to bottom or vice-versa) then indent the grate section of the same wall section.

EDIT: Just noticed from screenshot 3 that that's almost exactly what you've done! Maybe try indenting the grate and red a little bit more?

Overlays in the latest screenshots do not look as though they've been set to additive. Fix that.

The lighting also seems to be rather flat and bland, I say this to alot of people yes, but this area could really do with harsh lighting. Although I'd do it in that terribly eye bleeding blandly lit red corridor. Red and blue (or turqoise as some people call it) in a corridor doesn't look 'right' (for a lack of a better word).

Map shaping up nicely, although do something with those ceilings, I love playing around with a ceiling because it is probably the most creative area of designing a level possible. You can do absolutely anything to it and with alot of detail. Go for some ceiling lights in the corners like veil did, instead of red have a nice blue/turqoise to go along with the feeling of the map and area. Pipes (partly or fully spherical or just the 'pipe' texture set), wires, construction girders, height variation, lights, skylights etc. all go very well on ceilings. It will add alot more atmosphere to the room too. In that room I'd personally put pipes in the ceiling and make it look like they connect up all over the room from the ones behind the glass.

Agreed, your ceilings and floors need work. Maybe even some walls, like the ones with the red arrows - looks a bit flat. Nice work though.

definetely the ceilings need some work. start with a texture that differs from the floors one <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Hes already done that <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> Although, yeah both are grates and similar.

Edit: Something else also nice to add to ceilings and/or floors are transparent grates, or fans, or grates over fans <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
