Gamespy wasn't lying. www.ilovebees.com is real, and its wierd. Its like that Matrix Revolutions puzzle, except this one is almost scary with the way its done. Very....creepy.

I dunno, but reload the site many times(I don't mean a simple refresh- I mean shut down that window TOTALLY, then go to it again. Each time its a bit different, especially on the non-home pages(where sometimes their normal, others they aren't.)

The .zip on FilePlanet contains a .wmv.
Think i'm gonna have to bite the bullet
and allow Windows Media Player to upgrade

Unless anyone has a nice alternative?

I got a nice small codec pack from <a href='http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx' target='_blank'>here</a>
and got to keep my current Media Player. :-D

this trailer was actually sorta "meh" for me.

too short, not enough real footage.. too much chopped up footage of stuff i'd already seen. the sequence at the end was very nice.. i love how lighting looks on MC.

Then again, this was intended for the masses, whom for those who haven't even heard of Halo, probably haven't seen that footage. Also, I think 40+ seconds is quite long enough for an ad (heaven forbid if all ads were any longer)

This isn't the first time Bungie has done something like this. I don't know exactly what it is but it's probably got something to do with the Marathon universe. Bungie has been slipping references to rampant AIs and all sorts of other things Marathon into the web and Halo, this is more of the same. I'm glad they did, it makes me more confident about the game's quality if they're still pulling stunts like they always have.

That wasn't so good to be honest, I've seen all of that footage (except for the very end) plenty of times before. And even the end wasn't that good.

xnbomb was one of the players for the Matrix ARG (not just some riddle shenanigans). As some of you might remember, shortly before matrix revolutions came out, a bunch of strange matrix-related webpages were revealed. Unrelated to the movie itself (and in no way related to the movie studio or the wachovsky (sp?) brothers), this was a small indenpendent web detective game, that made use of webpages, but also phonecalls, emails, and AIM clients, and even the real world at one time. good fun.

At one time, the main protagonist, Beth, revealed her AIM addy, giving people (as in, the guys playing detectives) the ability to contact her. Xnbomb was merely one of those players, so I bet he's completely unrelated to this whole halo ordeal.

If you haven't got this yet, don't go to stupid Fileplanet, you'll wait in line forever. You'll get it about three billion times faster from the torrent on filerush. It's halfway (three quarters by the time I finished the post, 85 now) done for me right now. Come get some.

PS: I have now been done for approximately one minute. I'm seeding it. This whole thing took under two minutes.

Why does FP even exist anymore?

PPS: Uhh... holy crap.

Is there anywhere I can get a lower quality version? I am outrageously ashamed to say so, but this is making my video card cry.
