Then there's a lager ad that shows a bloke getting his head bitten off by a croc whilst bungie jumping.
The difference ? The Ford ad never saw the light of day; the lager ad did. Why ? Perhaps we are so disaffected by the plight of our fellow humans that we care more for animals than people.
Even so, dog fighting is cruel.

Listen, I'm not saying that that's the only thing wrong with humanity. I know we treat our own speecies like crap, but it still sickens me how people can be so cruel. The dog fighting and the puppy that had it's flesh torn from its bones because people trained a pit bull to kill it is just one example of what is wrong with the human race.

Yeah we really do suck... I mean... Killing animals every day, Wasting food, Killing the O-Zone layer, America being the leat energy efficient. The pit bull was bred to attack small bulls in pits (they're viscious little things). The wrinkles on their face was bred from a disease, so that the blood runs off them (but also bunches up their windpipe making it hard for them to breathe). Their short back legs are so they can get a better position to bite a bull from underneath, again bread from a disease. Pit bulls were bred from the beginning to kill stuff for people's entertainment... It's just being continued now (and with other dogs, presumably).
Anyway, bloodsports = interesting to humans. Always has been. It's no more cruel than keeping a chicken kept in a small cage all it's life and then lopping off it's head. No more cruel than leading cows into a slaughterhouse one by one (so the cows can see what's happening yet have no chance to get away). Only difference is we get pleasure (nice meat) AFTER they're dead, and these guys get pleasure watching them die/fight to the death. Not really any different.
Anyway, humans have their up sides. Humour is the one i hang on to most of the time (as most people who know me can probably tell). Laughing about everything (<b>everything</b>) stops the weight of nastiness crushing you.
