I had a used Vauxhall Astra in mind but the insurance was more expensive than the car itself Funnily enough, my friend is cruising around in a pickup truck (he's 18) and he mentioned that the insurance for that was cheaper than that for the Peogeut 206 he had before.

This isn't actually a picture of mine, but I have a 72 Dodge Charger (gold).

The only noticeable difference between mine and the photo is that mine has a black roof and more dents (dents were from before I got it).

I think it's because we can understand how the systems work together and can actually repair them without specific training on all that electronic junk they throw in the newer cars.

    That and muscle cars rule.

Ok, I have posted these once before, but since that topic is locked and since I am not using the NS forums bandwidth. I shall repost them.

My current project is over, and currently being sold. Thus here are the finished pictures if it.

Very sweet accent and underlights, Rage. Was thinking of picking up a set of 26" UV tubes from a buddy (who was going to install them) but CA state laws apparently recently changed so that even having underlights installed is illegal.

Rage...to make your car look more badass may I suggest some coilovers to make it lower and handle better and paint it black. I'm not sure if they make body kits for your particular car, but take a look at Advan...they have a lot.

Heres my REAL ride as a of next year, a 2000 GMC Jimmy. Mine is the same as in the picture, but it has the two-tome side panels.

The suspension I have on the car won't let me lower it any more. If I do I run the risk of catching some hazerdous items on the road into the belly of my car. I'm looking now at my next modification to be an upgrade to the current audio system (which is Infinity) to something with more punch

At least my car has a nicer audio setup, even if it lacks the lights. A pair of 18" Punch subs in the back (sealed enclosure), 8" DBQuart 3-ways in the hatch-shelf, and a pair of DBQuart highs in the front console. Thinking of pulling the door panels and putting in a pair of 7" DBQuarts, or running a custom TAD rig to give an effective 15" in about 9" of space, as my boss owns the patent.

Only down sides are the fact that the Aiwa CDC-MP32 head unit has no skip protection (and the motorized faceplate got stuck, most likely from tree-droppings coming through the vents), and that the subs are underpowered, only getting about 35 amps total off the amplifier when they're rated for 50 each. :b Definitely good to cruise along on the freeway with though, and can make soccer-moms roll up their windows with a little help from the ICP. ^_^
