This is the theoretical most beautiful female face in Germany. It was created by a team of facial averaging researchers trying to further prove the hypothesis that humans find "averaged" faces to be more attractive than either original face. Example: if you take pictures of two of your female nextdoor neighbors and average them with a computer, the result will look better than either of them.
The above face was the averaged result of the contestants for Miss Germany 2002.

[edit]Note: the faces were averaged without makeup, which all beauty pageant contestants obviously rely on. The "real" Miss Germany 2002 winner, without makeup, is here. See how much nicer the averaged one is?

Henna ! Fun, temporary tattoos that stain the layer of skin that exfoliates naturally. They go away in 1-4 or soweeks depending on the quality, mix and methods used. I just started playing around with Henna lately. I'm trying out tribal style ones like this spellstone one.

A deep-space shot by hubble. Taken over several months. Each one of those tiny specs is a galaxy containing billions upon billions of stars.

Makes you feel pretty insignificant no? I have a bigger version somewhere on my HD, i'll be back.

[EDIT] Nope, it seems to have disappeared. Sorry, the bigger version had much more detail.

That was some stupendous pencil work indeed... I shall shortly be admiring what other works he has thus far created.

But first... some National Geographic:

I picked these all up from some zip file I chanced upon, so there isn't really much I can say about them, except leak some drool of amazement.
